I don't know if this has ever been posted before but wouldn't it be cool to have a Nationwide GTG?
It could be held in conjunction with the NAMM show or something like that. I would bet that some vendor (or group of vendors) would pony up serious sponsorship dollars and/or perks.
Just something to consider.
Would you show up?

A Nationwide GTG would have to be set up like any other National Convention -- hotels, flight arrangements, etc, etc, etc. It would also make sense to get some corporate sponsorship involved -- some of the larger manufacturers, retailers, and some "name" players, also.
I have pretty extensive experience as a convention planner but this would probably be a bigger undertaking than Paul would like to get involved in.
That said, it could be a lot of fun!

National conventions such as this end up being a work in progress, so immediate results cannot be expected. However, you might some day down the road end up making a HUGE event out of something like this.
