Well, it's been a few years since the last offical GTG. So this time we're going to do it a little different.

Where? - Singletary Rod & Gun Club
Located on 300 Sutton Ave. Oxford, Ma. 01540
www.singletaryrodandgun.com/

We'll have access to both indoor (if it rains) and outdoor. There is bar, so be sure to bring your ID if you plan on drinking. there's also a pool table.

When? - August 20th. Yes, it's a Sunday, but it was the only day that was available.

Food? - Burgers, hot dogs, ribs, chips, potato salad, soda. If there's anything you'd like to bring, by all means, please do.

Bring your rear, bring your gear, grab a beer, and have a good time with the rest of us!!!

I'm not sure of what time it starts yet, but either Funkster or myself will chime in with more details as we know.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to shoot me a PM, or email me joe@bassnutz.com

I hope to see you there!!!

(Could a Mod please sticky this?)

I'll see about getting a ride- my wife's having ankle surgery two weeks before then, so she won't be able to drive.

Yeah! I would like to go. What could be more fun than basses, guns, and booze!

The only thing that may stop me is some unscheduled VK time, but count me in.

I'm going to pencil it in my calendar. Since I've never been to one of these, what can I expect?

Lots and lots of noise That and the benefit of being able to talk about your G string in a room full of men and knowing no one's going to make fun of you

I'll be able to go, I'll be part of the younger TB crowd, but it should still be fun.

It's a chance to play other people's gear that you wouldn't normally get a chance to play. It's also a good way to get to talk shop and meet some other bass brethren.

Not to mention a cool atmosphere with food, booze, strippers........wait, scratch that last one. Unless Bryan plans on stripping?

Harry, I'd give you a ride, but I wont have any room in my car with all the gear & food I'm bringing.

Hi guy's I don't get over here (TB) very often but this will be a great time at a great place. The time will be 12-6pm. The Bassnutz crew thought it was time for meet&greet/gearfest. The last one we did was good but this one will be great!. We haven't worked out all the details yet but more to come.
Harry if Thor come's maybe you can hook up with him?

Nightrain/Joe/and I over at Bassnutz are flipping the bill for the cost, We might put out a donation jar to recoupe some of our cost. Maybe a voluntary 5:00$ donation if possible? I'm not sure. Joe?

What to bring? GEAR!

A $5 donation would be greatly appreciated to help with the cost of food and such, but it's not neccessary.

What to bring? You're more than welcome to bring whatever you'd like. Gear is always the best thing to bring.

I am interested but not definite. I have been having a lot of
work done on my place and hope to get it wrapped up in
August so I can get my stuff all moved back out of storage
and stop living out of plastic bags. I get most of the work
done that I need to take care of on the weekends, and it
has been nonstop for 4 months or more. Actually, the
project started Jan 1, but don't even go there.

Harry, if I was going I'd be happy to take you, but I think
you should work on a ride to be safe.

Funkster, it sho' does sound like fun though.

You better be going Mang!!!! You can get out one day for a couple of hours or so, , Hell it's just up the road from you off 146! a lot closer than the last one. This one is going to be a blast! I'm surprised at the lack of intrest though. A few months ago everyone from TB was bugging me to host a GTG.. Oh well more food/Beer and gear for us!
