New England GTG Lets get it started.

Alright everyone lets start making a plans for another New England GTG. Freddells suggested a place in Sutton MA to me today. That's just a little north of where we met last year. According to him they have a nice hall and a bar! What's everyone's calender look like? It would be great to see you all again.

Hold on there!!! I didn't say they had a nice hall . . .

We had a gtg a few years back at the Singletary Rod & Gun Club. There's an outdoor pavilion that was rented by the organizers of the gtg. There is also a building next to it that has a bar.

So, if it's a cold day or bad weather, it won't be good b/c even though the pavilion is covered, it's wide open all around and it's on a lake (or pond or whatever).

There might be better options available.

The venue we used to have it at is not an option any longer, and I've been too busy to even think about organizing another GTG. Thanks Dave!

I keep missing them as well. Not being a regular, I don't get a vote, but June 10 or earlier would work well. Once Summer hits, people always seem to be busy on the weekends.

No bands. Just everyone gets together, bring your gear, try out gear, eat some food, chat with each other, etc.

We've had some clinics in the past. Mike Dimin gave a clinic. Michael Manring gave a nice performance once. It's fun and it's a chance to actually meet some that you haven't and see old friends that you haven't seen in a while.

I have just developed a very important clinic that is so much more than just bass. In fact I am working on making available at the corporate level. It is called "Whose Box Is This Anyway" and deals with the path to being a more critical thinker and an innovator. I would be happy to present this for the NE GTG, if the dates work out. I am always looking for feedback and to refine it to bring to the big $ corporate world

Mike
