Tonight (Thursday, March 6th) there is a free clinic at the Atlanta Bass Gallery at 7pm. Never heard of this guy, Stockton, but my bass instructor said he's good.

Scott -

RUN, (do not walk) to ABG for that clinic. Norm Stockton is an AWESOME bassist and one of the nicest guys you'll ever want to meet.

Check him out here: www.normstockton.com

his solo stuff is quite tasteful, and he also plays with lincoln brewster...he's one of the nicest cats around, and you're bound to see a pretty strong bass crowd down there if norm is coming to town...hit it, man

Norm is top notch! Go see him!! I consider him a "biggie." It's always shocking to me when people say they've not heard of him.....I know....bassists have it tough. We don't get the spotlight all that often. Go see Norm.

I almost feel bad for not knowing him. But I haven't been in the bass game all that long.
Def going to see him tonight.

Very cool clinic! Only about 8 guys showed up so it was very intimate. Norm was, as described, VERY cool and very nice. Oh yeah, and a super kick ass player.
