The NYC/International GTG *TRADE* fodder thread!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey All,

So we're all gear-crazy, right?

This thread is for all who are planning to attend the big August 2nd GTG in Long Island.
More info about that HERE.

This GTG could double as a great swap meet...so, this thread is here to post possible trade equipment, and let people set up some 'try-before-you-swap' deals for the GTG.

Post what you've got, what you're looking for, etc.!

I'll start:

Possible trades:
-G&L L2500, black, Ash body, maple FB, OHSC
-'70s "Carlo Robelli" J-bass copy, really nice, black/RW/blocks and binding
-Possibly some older / prototype Martin Keith basses
-Alvarez acoustic bass, 4-string, w/pickup, natural finish
-Various pedals and parts

Looking for:
-Stingray 4 or 5, single H, maple board
-Some kind of nifty hollowbody?
-Small lightweight class-D amp (MKII, MB500, BX500, etc.)
-Decent 1x10 or 1x12 speaker cabs

Let's hear what we've all got!

Cheers,
Martin

Crusader - OP now has link to the main GTG thread!

Beyondhairy - that looks interesting...are you bringing it to the GTG? If so, I'd love to play it and see what we can work out.

Cheers,
Martin

as i've learned in the past, NOTHING is off the table when it comes to trades or sales if the right deal comes along

What I've got (and hopefully bringing)
- Acacia Custom Ebony 4 string (this one is currently in the classifieds for trade)
- Fodera Emperor 5 string bolt-on (also in the classifieds now for sale)
- Mørch Curl 6 (likely won't be one that I'd deal since this bass is just perfect)
- Mørch Singlecut 5 fretless (wedding gift from the wife so doubtful for a trade, but the wife said if I find something I'd like more she'd be cool with me parting with it).
- Abe Rivera 4 (one of the best basses I've ever played...hands down)

gear that i'm bringing:
- Vox Bass AmPlug (these things rock...the sound is suprisingly really good on this little bugger)
- EBS microbass II
- Avalon U5
- Phil Jones Briefcase Amp

Maybe...depending on space
- Demeter VTBP-201s
- Stewart 1.2
- Demeter BSC-310
- Euphonic Audio CXL 112 (would definitely trade this...the Demeter cab seems to be more my taste)

I've also got a bunch of pedals that I'd consider bringing if there was interest...
- Pigtronix EP-1 (modded with MARV, mutron switch, exp pedal added for wah effect)
- EBS multi-comp
- Ampeg suboct
- Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive
- Ibanez TS9

not a trade but I'm looking to spend around $500-600 for a Lakland 44-01 or fender geddy lee jazz. prefer maple boards, if you've got something bring it to the GTG!
