Hey all,

Even though I live about 30 minutes from this event, I've never went. I went up and had the pleasure to meet fellow TB'er Justin Kennedy (aka ModuludAcacai). Great guy- we had some interesting conversation, played some beatiful basses and we are partaking in a project together on which I can't WAIT to have completed!

I just want to thank Justin for his time, and let everyone know that he's a good fellow.

I am the one he is finishing the Acacia for, although it is fretted.

Yeah- your wenge Ben was nice. How are your new acquisitions coming?

But seriously...how many unfinished Acacias are out there? Mine is getting finished this week. I'd love to get in on whatever is out there from this rare talent.

I was there-had a great time hanging out a little at the Low End booth, but I didn't get to stick around for too long.

Too bad that this thread wasn't up beforehand.

I believe it was at the Aladin Shrine Temple on Stelzer rd. right by Easton Town Center in Columbus. I was there. I was up on the stage looking and drooling over all the $3,000+ basses on stage, especially that blue Ritter Roya. Beautiful stuff up there. I was tempted to play one of those Low End Jazzes but never picked one up. My loss.

actually it's held there twice a year, once in June and once in January. The January show is bigger usually. I've been to the last three and the Low End Bass Shop from Murfeesboro Tn. is there every year. Yes, you need to be there next time.
