Well I know several of us have been talking about it. This is a feeler thread just to get an idea of how many would be interesting to coming to OKC, or Tulsa for a GTG. Lets assume we are talking here in the next 4 weeks or so.

It would seem to me that OKC would be an easier option geographically as it is more towards the center of the state. In theory it would be easier for more people to get to than Tulsa since T-town is towards the northeastern corner of the state. Plus, and much more importantly, I am already in OKC and wouldn't have to drive so durn far....

I'd even offer to host it at my office.. but it won't really hold more than 3-5 people. I don't know what's available for rent inside OKC.. but I know here in Yukon.. we can rent the Round-Up Club for $100 a day. It's big enough for 20-30 of us to bring all our gear, there is a bathroom, there is electricity.. and there's nothing around that would be distrubed by thunderous low B's!!
It's fairly easy to get to.. it's right on Hwy 66. 2 miles north of I-40.
I'm not available this Saturday, or next Saturday.

After the 21st (I have both a show and a wedding I am performing that day Unusual wedding gig , odd I know) I have somehow managed to not have any shows on Saturdays booked till Nov. 18th. I could probably even do the 18th if we got together earlier during the day (nearby Bricktown gig that night). Of course, a Saturday daytime GTG would present football gameday issues. Still a Saturday would work best for me personally.

I also concur that we need to place it far enough off that everyone (who want to do so) can arrange to be there. Say late May or so?
