So my band is playing at the Hawthorne. This will be the first time we've been invited to play there. The place is truly awesome since they renovated it. Great sound system, great sound guy. It's THE all ages venue on the east side. Tickets are a bit spendy @ $8, but that's fairly normal for the Hawthorne. They do serve drinks there as well.
There are [edit] four bands playing; Poseidon, Gods and Kings, Just Cause, and Buck 90 (from Seattle; their label is recording the show). I don't know the lineup yet but I will soon. If anyone is into black sabbath/pirates, then you'll enjoy a band that we've played several shows with, Poseidon. Last Thurs I hurt my neck rocking out to them during their set
