BTW Mal, I played the DSP for the first time in a band context at Eric's gig last weekend, and it sounded fantastic in the mix, IMO. What a TONE!

I believe there are covers so - getting in the door early and beating the cover guy would be good planning ...

I'm going to try to grab Bart as well. C'mon Bart, do it! We can smoke cigars there and stuff.

Just a note... you guys will be playing at the Dublin Pub tonight with the Boys Next Door. They have been the house band there for over a decade. I remember them back during college when we used to drink quite heavily there. Good times! I wish I could tell you the music was good, but I honestly don't remember. The BEER and LADIES were good, that I DO remember. Hmmm, how did I get home.........

Damn, we're getting old. | Dude - I had a conference call with a po'd client at 6 this morning and I had to stay for the second set... I went a little easy on the beer's though but then I had to trek back to Gorge'istan? ... Underwood'istan ? Skamania'stan ? well the sticks anyway ...
I was meaning to ask you - know anybody in Portland that will strip the monster poly finish from my MIM Precision Special - I have the hot's for soemthing in Seafoam Green and wshile I could just spray over the white... somehow the complete refin seems like a mo' betta approach - this from someone who know's how to apply wipe on poly - badly ... or in other words nothing about refinishing ...

They are two of the best cab's I've ever played through but for my taste the 21012 is the pick.
And of course that it is 30 or so lbs lighter doesn't hurt - not a bit!

I only know a thing or two about industrial coatings (plating, metal lacquer and powder coating). But, you could give Mike Doolin of Doolin Guitars a call. He's a luthier in Portland that would know exactly how to get to where you want to be concerning finishes on instruments. Hell of a nice guy too! I met him through an acquaintance of mine (Robert Brown aka Robert Rude). http://www.doolinguitars.com/
