I want to... but I have even less free time now than I did at the last GTG, so I'll probably miss this one too. With regrets.

I dunno... maybe I can play hooky one night...

This won't be the first time I've been out of it, but... what's a GTG? Uh... get-together?

I'm always up for a good drive

The only new stuff I've got is a beat up old Earthwood ABG, and a battery powered Phil Jones Briefcase.

And an iPhone with various music/noise making apps...

Throwing my hat in. Got a Clement 5er fretless and a Markbass F1 to show off since last time.

Interested in another "little rig" shoot out. Especially on the prowl for single 12 or 10 cabs.

Lemme know.

I want to hear that Earthwood.

Then again, maybe I shouldn't.

I couldn't make it to the Seattle one, but I could probably sneak off on a Sunday if it's a little more local.

Not much new gear for me these days though.

Hey, did I tell you guys my band will be playing a pre-game concert for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (minor league) baseball game on Aug 17th?

Time for another one that's actually in Portland, maybe? The club I've hosted at out here likely won't be available until sometime in April at the earliest. We can definitely do it out here again sooner than later though, if need be.

Hey I'll be living in Portland starting April 1st. I don't really have any great gear to show off but it would be cool to meet some fellow TBers.

Subscribing.

I could drop the family off at OMSI to see the exhibits. I got a new Gecko 6 that is definitely a keeper.

So Bart. Baybee! You think any of the club's SNO plays would host us ?

I have no idea. I know the folks at the Queen pretty well, but it's not that big of a place and the stage is pretty small (but at least they have a stage now). I've heard the Full Moon may become a strip club, LOL. The stage at Mojo's is downright tiny.

The best place (as far as having a decent stage and plenty of room to get a little loud) we used to play was Legends (formerly Club 199) which is in Vancouver, but the owner was kind of a jerk and I think our singer may have stirred up some bad blood when we left there. She won't go back.

I'm stumped.

I'll ask my buddy who does sound in several different Portland clubs for suggestions. There are a lot of places that used to allow smoking that I pretty much know nothing about.

It now looks like the River City will only be closed for a couple of weeks, so late March out here could work too.

I'll be down that way for a project at the end of the month. I may even bring along my Clement 4 fretless.

I'll check back in here and see what's stirring between now and then.

I'll be putting this together within the next few days. Probably most Sundays after and including March 29th are fair game, so how about some feedback on what would work best for you guys?

I've taken my newest DIY rack preamp out on some gigs recently, and it'll probably have at least a few more bells and whistles installed by GTG time. This one's a little gnarlier and leans more toward Ampeg territory, but still in a solid state kinda way. Makes a nice complement to the Fender-style one many of you have heard at previous GTGs.
