I might be up for that. I'd be more keen on it if we could meet somewhere in the city...

I'll probably be up for it. Still haven't picked a hotel, so I'll refrain from suggesting areas.

Suggestion: "Pershing Square", directly across the street from Grand Central. Dinner & drinks.

Keep in mind some of us (well, at least myself) are underage, so possibly make it a place that underage people can get into. I am not 21 for another year and a half haha

In that case maybe a restaurant / bar like Heartland Brewery would be good.

I'm happy to go anywhere where I can get a cab back to midtown easily enough.

So is this going to be a Manhattan event, or at Maxi's in Franklin Square, or both? Some of us need to know pretty quick. I'm travelling in less than 48 hours.

I probably can't do anything Saturday night after all, but if anyone is in town Friday night I'd be up for a few beers in midtown Manhattan

Yes, we'll be having your performance review as well

For anyone else wanting to come along, I'll be meeting bassybill at the Heartland Brewery at Empire State Building - corner of 34th and 5th. Let's say Friday @ 6pm

Sounds good to me, sorted. John, hope you can make it too.

It's within easy staggering distance from my hotel. It's a day too early to meet up with Chili Pepper, I think - never mind, maybe Saturday if you're in town?

Kevin? How about you?

The trip into NYC and back is close to 3 hours for me so let me see if I am up to. I have been doing for years for the Talk Bassers so will see how I feel after work.

re Saturday at Maxi's

Anyone interested in the Saturday hang at Maxi's on Long Island?

It's a cigar lounge where we could hang eat and drink.

I make arrangements for food that would cost us around 8 to 10 a head, We would have to bring our own booze .

It is basically down the block from the GTG,
