CBBass123, I played a gig in harlengin once... drove there, played, and came back that night! man it was cold.

alright lets get this thing going. I've never set up one of these things, even less been to one. so how would this work?

I was thinking perhaps we could talk to a local guitar shop like Guitar Tex. Maybe Mark will be ok with a bunch of bassists in his shop for a few hours.

or I'd ask the guys at madcats...but theres just no room there.

+1 on guitar tex. I just went there for the first time last week. looks like enough room and the guy there was super nice.

Mark would be good... I could also check with John at Sam Ash and could possibly do it there. They have a monthly bass player contest. I think it is the last Tuesday or Wednesday of each month. We could schedule it on one of those days... What do you think?

Ok go ahead and ask john at samash about it... and If you can try and get tuesday(28th)... I have a birthday on wednesday and won't be able to attend.

If samash fails then we'll try GTex.

Well, it looks like I am gonna have a bunch of stuff going on through the end of the year.

Wow, I had forgotten all about this. So much that at first i didnt believe it was me when I read the thread.

It never happened, if someone wanted to set one up I might attend but I cant set one up. I barely play anymore sadly.

Oh that's sad, but you only have your reasons to not play much, well if someone decides to do one, im down
