Eldar's itinerary just says "8pm concert". So there should be no problem with me bring there from 4 to 6.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!

We haven't heard back from the pontif for final confirmation, but we're thinking he'll be there maybe from 4 to 6 - but not confirmed. Either way, it's going forward. There are a lot of amps and cabs already at the shop, so I suggest you don't bring monster rigs - perhaps some novel stuff you have. (Don't bring anything you don't want to lug up two flights of stairs.) I'll probably bring my AE210 and maybe one micro amp just so people can try it out. That and a few basses.

Also, we'll have to moderate our volume because there are practice studios in use in the building. No need for us to leave with bleeding ears this time. It looks like we have access to the adjacent recital hall, too.

The address is:

Bass San Diego
6255 Ferris Square, Suite E
San Diego, CA 92121

It's upstairs from Hammond Ashley Violins.

Post an RSVP here so we can get an idea of how many to expect. I'll brief you on Mike Pope's attendance tomorrow.

I'll send a PM to everyone in this thread so far, so you don't miss the announcement.
Damit.

It was a nice GTG. BIG thanks to Chris and Mike for hosting. I enjoyed meeting Mike Pope.

I hope Chris will post the snapshots he took so I'll be able to match the faces of the folks I met with their TB names.

Bass San Diego is a great store; Chris, George, and Mike are a pleasure to deal with.

Except I don't work there. I just helped Chris organize it.

Even though I knew this was happening, I missed it too, but I had a good excuse (sang for a wedding ceremony in the early afternoon, band gig later in the afternoon into the evening). I needed the money.

I hope to make the next BSD GTG.
