We wish you could be here too.

Hopefully there will be a good turnout and I'll have some great pics and videos to post.

C'mon folks, let's generate some interest. Please?

I'm totally still down for this. It's just over a month out. I'm going to have some postcard sized flyers for my band's gig later in August, up in Everett. We have another in November too on Capital Hill, but I'm not sure I'll have promo stuff for that one before this GTG or not.
I'll still be bringing my same contingent of EBMMs. Since it sounds like a larger place, I'll bring my rack and my Avatar this time.

Question Hail Hail Rock & Roll dept...

That's great news.

I'm looking forward to being able to place real people with screen names.

Along that line...
I have a question for everyone who plans on attending...

Shall I print up some nametags (and have some blank ones available) so we can better keep track of who's who? I'll be glad to do it.
You see, I'm terrible with a buch of new names/faces all at once. And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

That's not a bad idea at all. I'm terrible with names to begin with, so if I'm meeting a bunch of people all at once, it's very unlikely that I'll know who's who. I always feel bad about it too :P. Either TB screenname or real life name on tags - or both if people are comfortable with that. I am :P

Sounds good to me too!
Unless it's ungodly hot ( not likely!) I'm attending in band persona so make mine Veronica

Dave (PWV) and I are carpooling up, the Subie will be full of basses.

Im in. I've never been to one of these. Curious, what goes on? Talking, drinking, bass playing, buying selling/trading etc?

If it was me, I probably wouldn't go to the effort of printing anything up. But be sure to have blank ones on hand, and make sure they are big enough to put two names down. And have a couple of templates ready, to give people an idea of how to do it. (Screen name above, real name below, screen name in red, real name in blue, something like that.)

And have a lot of them, because people will inevitably mess something up and have to start over.

I'm getting psyched for this! I'm getting ready to gut my Frankenrick and re-do pretty much everything on it. If all goes to plan, it will be a damn unique instrument.

Still planning on being there. I don't have much to bring other than my fEARful and maybe my G&Ls if people are interested. I'll be coming out via I-90/I-405/I-5 if anyone wants to car pool. I have a GMC Safari so I could load up a few with gear. Keep bumping thread in early August though, my memory sucks sometimes.

Hey cableguy - I'd probably like to carpool. There's a park'n'ride right off of 5 near my house that I could meet you at. I'll PM you when this gets closer.

You forgot drooling.

As for name tags. I'll just print ones for those who PM me and tell me what they want theirs to say. Personally my handwriting is nearly unreadable.
And I'll have plenty of blank ones there. (I already have several hundred on hand.)

I have always been out of town for these but it looks like I have a chance this time. Looking forward to meeting other low end geeks.

"...if people are interested"? What, you think people won't be interested in G&Ls? I'd be interested in playing some G&Ls.

I'm also really interested to hear the fEARfuls. (Though I gotta say, I hate that name!)

G&Ls are great basses. I always found it strange that so few people (relatively speaking) have ever played one.

Bumpage, and subbing to this thread. The last GTG was 2.5 minutes from my house, so I suppose I can drive allllll the way up to Marysville this time. .... If I'm in town that weekend. Someone's gotta bring a Warwick.
