Seattle GTG 12/13/09

Sign in to disble this ad
West Seattle 12/13/09 12:30-4pm, at The Shipwreck Tavern. I figured we'd test the waters at my buddy's new club with a wintertime GTG. Nice stage layout, bring your favorite basses, meet-n-greet sort of thing. Yes it's a bar, so it's 21 and over.
I'll bring my two amps, but a few more would probably be nice.

Located 4210 SW Admiral Way. Easy to find, cross the West Seattle bridge, and take the immediate SW Admiral off ramp and go straight up to the top of the hill, it's on the right.

-Mike

Why didn't they keep the name?

I remember when the Benbow shut down because they were tearing it down for condos. Glad to see the ship rise from the deep!

I'll put it on the calender.

That sounds like fun times.

My guitarist/friend/bandmate was mentioning this place as a possible venue for us to play. Looks pretty cool and I hope it works out for us to do a little show there.

Yep, I'll be there.

I'll bring along the Clement fretless and the GW.

I hope they have a good beer selection.

Or, just a selection of good beers.

Good beers for sure. Yeah you can drink, we're not working.
We'll pretty much have the place to ourselves, he really doesn't get any foot traffic at all that early, save for one or two thirsty folks.

I typically have band practice on Sundays but one of the guitarists in the band hurt his hand last week.

BUT I think that I will have to pass as I just can't justify the gas since work is still very scarce around here. Maybe next time.

Yep - weather contra indicates leaving the gorge at the moment as well. You guys all have a fine time and - as long as Skip's going, we'll pass the worj to NOAA and UW that there may be a small seismic event centered on 4210 SW Admiral Way, West Seatlte and nobody should be real concerned ubless it persists into tomorrow ...
