SIR JAMES PAUL McCARTNEY BUFFALO BIRTHDAY "BASS BALL" BASH

Sign in to disble this ad
Sir Paul McCartney Birthday Bass Ball gathering.

All bass players, lovers of bass players, and lovers of basses are invited to an informal gathering, a BASS BALL, at the Ellicott Manor on Thursday, June 18th from 7-9pm. It’s Paul McCartney’s 67th birthday. Bring your instruments/ amps, or just bring yourself. Play if you wish, or sit back and take it all in. We’ll talk bass shop: instruments, strings, amps, boxes. It’s a great chance to compare setups side by side.

There is one of the area’s best open mics following our meeting and there’s a great grill/fry kitchen for those who might want to come right from work. Try and bring a stand for each bass that you bring… it helps move things along and we want to take a few shots of all the instruments standing at attention together on the stage. It’s so much more dignified then seeing them hanging by their necks!

It would be great to meet some of our Canadian neighbors. Talk it up and then show up.

Directions {corrected}:

Sounds cool, I guess by saying Canadian Neighbors you've narrowed it down to USA, Greenland, Nova Scotia maybe? I don't know, I'm horrible with geography.

Probably Buffalo NY. It mentioned Buffalo in the thread title.

Unless you're supposed to bring a buffalo with you or something... I hate those kind of parties...the clean up afterwards is a beeotch..

Don't forget Bermuda. Or the Bahamas.

Or Cuba, for that matter.

It might seem like a long way off, but it's only cutting your grass three times away.

Are any of you Toronto Maple Leafs or Hamilton Coyotes fans planning on coming down?

The kitchen is a good value. You can come right from work, chow down, and take it all in. Just let me know if you need better directions

It's still a go for Thursday. I hope to see to see you and your friends there. The kitchen is pretty good, too. Don't feel that you have to play something! Younger players with an adult are welcome.
