I'll be there again (flying in on Thursday afternoon, and out on Sunday morning), and as always, I'd love to hang with some of my TB buds. Send me a PM if you are going to be there, and we can exchange cell phone numbers, or something like that.

Got plans for post-show on Thursday, but otherwise, I'm without any plans for evenings - however, I'll be pretty tired I'm sure, no vehicle, and the wife and I tend to stick close to home. So the biggest thing I'll be up for will be to hit a restaurant in the evening for a good meal, and possibly a few adult beverages prior to heading to sleep and recover for the next day.
I expect visits from all the TBer's that are present! We should plan one TBer congregation one evening as well...Friday seems good to me.
...of course, I dunno if Tom will wanna hang with me, after what LSU is about to do to his Buckeyes Monday night...
Tom, I promise not to wear purple & gold if LSU wins, if you will promise not to wear any red & silver if the impossible happens...

I'll be doing demo playing for my buddy Eric Ambrosino of Ambrosonics. And please, any and all fellow TBers please stop by. Eric's stuff is mostly for guitard players, but there's some bass potential as well. I'm sure I'll be hangin' at the Sadowsky booth from time to time too.
Tom, I'm PM'ing you with my cell phone. Let's hang! I'm arriving Thursday night...probably get to Anaheim around 8-ish...and flying out on a red-eye on Sunday night.

Maybe we could share a cab to Anaheim (you're flying into LAX, right?). Oh, and do you have another CD out? The wife and I really dig the Mystery Feet CD I picked up last year.
Look forward to seeing you again!
Tom.

Tom. | PM'd you my info. We may be able to work it out.
It's Mystery Feet (my fault for picking a dumb name...it's been mangled worse...Mystery Meat is the best), and no...no CD from that band, which is on pretty much a permanent hiatus. But I'll be traveling out to NAMM with Matt Zeiner, with whom I do have a new release out (see my Avatar and check the myspace link for tracks). Matt was with Dickey Betts for years and the band does all Matt's original material. He's a killer singer and B3 player kinda along the lines of Gregg Allman, but very original. Actually he co-produced the Mystery Feet CD and plays the killer organ solo on "Grandma's Revenge".
NAMM's gonna be a great hang this year!

| | | | I'll be there on Thurs the 17th and Fri the 18th. I'll be all over the place but I will be at the Wilkins booth downstairs often. I'm a big fan of Pat's work so if you haven't seen any of his basses, stop by take a look and say hi! I'll also be spending some time at Lakland & Ampeg.
George

PM'ing you my cellphone number to assist in coordination efforts.
By the way, anyone want to schedule a TB dinner night? I am not familiar with the surroundings, but if it's within walking distance, and not on Thursday night, I'm up for it!

There's a really good casual joint called Mimi's Cafe on S. Harbor Blvd. It's a chain that many of you in the South might be familiar with. I thought the food was excellent and the prices were quite reasonable. Walking distance from the Convention Center. If you like to eat a lot, this is your place.
Problem is I'll be with a group of at least 7 or 8 cats that will be hangin' together, so that's a pretty sizable group already. Perhaps a more practical idea would be to get together for a drink or three at cocktail hour?
On Friday night there's the Bass Bash at JT Schmid's. That would be the ideal place for a TBer hang...no? Ric Fierabracci, Brian Bromberg, Adam Nitti and Alain Caron are supposed to be on the bill.

I might try to make it, but I'll be getting in that night, so I wouldn't be there until later.
I do plan on being at the Bass Bash on Friday, and I think that would be a great time to hang with folks.
