Sunday August 3rd will be the date for the International GTG hosted in metro NYC !

Dear Friends

I am pleased to announce that the Talk Bass International GTG in celebration of 10 years of the Talk Bass community will be held on Sunday August 3rd at the following establishment http://www.parkrestaurant.com/ . Starting time will be 1 PM. A deposit of $40 is necessary to reserve your attendences to this GTG. All deposits can be paid via paypal to Filakovsky@optonline.net . Depending on the attendence of the event it is possible the deposit could be the only fee needed to cover the expenses but this will be determined in the near future. If you havent been to a TB GTG these are oppertunites for in person socialization with members of the community as well as having the chance to check their coveted gear in a jam friendly enviornment. Right now we are working some actual basses to be won as prizes for attendence.

Depending on where I am then, I'll be there! If I'm still in PA, definitely. If I'm in NC (which is the tentative plan) I won't be able to...

Thanks for the heads-up! I prolly won't make it...my daughter turns ten on 8/6, and she wants a big party. But, you never know...if we have the money to go to NYC, maybe a trip with Mom to Radio City Music Hall to see the Rockettes would make her happy?
