Talk Bass International GTG to be hosted in NY !

Kinda funny, but ouch! So did any of the cool DB'ers venture to this GTG?
There was an electric upright - and of course Pointbass' Barker, which I am kicking myself that I didn't spend more time with and plug in.

Hi Everyone. It was good meeting you all at the GTG.
So, after three years its finally time to show my bass guitars. The show opening is at Gillard's in Bronxville, NY (20 Palmer Ave.) on Thursday, Oct 23rd at 7:30 and runs until Nov. 7th. (Flyer is attached)
I should have around 10 basses on display of varying numbers of strings and functionality. I would really appreciate it if you can come out and see my creations. If you do plan on attending, please drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you.
And yes, my website is utterly lacking in content. It will be updated soon. Making sawdust has taken priority over making pixels lately.

Thanks,
Luke Sheridan

BUMP for what has to be the most classic TB thread this year or possibly ever. This was one event that will stand out for me when I'm dribbling in a nursing home and someone happens to mention 2008. It's been said before, but huge thanks to John and Kevin for setting this up. Kudos of massive proportions is due, I loved each little bit of it and it was great meeting every one of you.

Really looking forward to seeing you people in 2009, even if my trip to NZ with my sister is creating its very own credit crunch right here in good 'ol Blighty!

Merry Christmas, guys.

and Merry Christmas to you Bill! and to all!
Me, my wife, and my daughters, born 6 weeks early and 26 days after the GTG (who none of who have met b4, except Major MetalMetal, thanks to Kevin for being there for me and Kelly!), look forward to seeing you again, and all the TBers who made it to the GTG on 8/02/08. It was a blast; truly a memory to last a lifetime. I have so much to tell everyone since then................

It was a true delight seeing everyone again and many of those for the first time. It was well worth it for the good time that was had by all.
