I remember my last namm two years ago catching Hadrien at the Marriot around Midnight one evening with Tony Royster, which was incredible.
How about Brian Bromberg, I see he's doing appearances during the day but no bass bash this year . I know last time I was there he was doing some night gigs that I missed, like the Rico Reeds or some other horn gig at a hotel that he was in the band.
days away, can't wait |

Can't scoot out of the show, early, though. |

Last year was Filter and Seether. not a fan of either but Seether was really good. Free beer and Jager also good. They haven't said who it is this year but in the past they had Cheap Trick. I also have a ticket to Elton John at the Yamaha anniversary party but don't think I'm going to go. no one else in my group RSVP'd but a few think they are still getting in.

Saturday night i went to the "All Star Guitar " night, Stantly Jordan! Mimi Fox, Bathiki Kumalu, James Hill, Stu Hamm, Victor Wooten, Roben Ford and so many other great players.
Tower of Power THursday night at the main stage, Snarky Puppy's set on Friday afternoon was cut short unfortunately due to rain delays. Blue Oyster Cult on Fri night sounded great as well.
This was my second NAMM, its alot easier to process it all once you have been once and you know what your up against. Incredible stuff this year, met a lot of musicians i grew up seeing in Bass player Mag. i hear it was the biggest NAMM yet with well over 100,000 in attendance.
Icing on the cake, I won a Kala U-Bass at a silent auction, got it for $275! its the Hutch Hutchinson import model.
