Toronto Musicians

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

I live in Toronto and am really getting tired of looking for musicians on craigslist. Where can I find talented, serious musicians in this city!?! Concerts are okay, but it seems like there are no really awesome bands just starting out these days that really draw the musicians out. Or maybe I am not looking hard enough.

Anyone know of any social events or musical gatherings of some kind that are good for meeting people? Thanks a bunch.

How about the schools with music programs? Humber College has a very serious program.

Are you looking for someone to jam with or a good night out listening to tunes?

Styles? Type of music you prefer?

For instance a really creative quartet (Dat Damn Jam Band) plays two "weekly" gigs

EVERY WEDNESDAY at The Unicorn Pub on Eglinton Ave. in Toronto from 10 until 2.

EVERY SUNDAY at The Sugar Plum Lounge at 1615 Dupont Ave. in Toronto from 9:30 to 12.

There is a facebook group that lists a lot of open jams (Toronto Jam Central) and one that is attempting to hook up musicians (Toronto Working Musicians Coalition)
