I may try to get there.

This shouldn't really be in OT - I'll ask my mod colleagues to move it.

I think that it's just for the day. Tickets are like £20 if you buy them off the interwebz in advance. Nathan East is going to be there.

http://www.bassday.co.uk/

EDIT: According to the website, Talkbass is a sponser/partner of UK Bass Day.

Ah, sorry dude, I ment is it all day, or just a few hours.

£23 on the day, which is still a good price. Looking at transportation, and hotels, I'll let ya know man.

Really wanna check GB Guitars booth, and Bass Direct(Roscoe dealer).

Cool. There isn't anything in particular that I am really fussed about seeing, but I thought that that I might go because its not expensive and its close to me.

Might get some nice trade deals, plus, there's a lot of free booths so far, they could fill up with some cool brands.

EDIT: Any cool bass shops in the area? If I go, I'll probably spend the weekend, and check a few shops as well.

You're probably wise to go for "strength in numbers"...

Central Manchester is ok, there is a cool tram system. Some of the sprawling estates are a bit dodge though....

It's not so much that. I'm more of a 'not-getting-stabbed-or-shot' fan...

Yeah, could start a club based on that, but, you'd probably end up getting clubbed.
