0 to a 100 percent%. defferent strings change the bass sound what do you give?

i was wondering that pepole buys defferent strings it change the bass guitar sound by what percent% for example wen you play with flatwounds and then your buyin a different brand name of flatwounds how much percent% do you think it change the sound? or it dusnt realy matter

IMHO, strings are the most important of all factors, but on the condition of top quality pups. With mediocre pups, the difference will be much less.

Let's say pups 40%, strings 40%, fingerboard 10%, rest 10%

String can alter the unaltered tone of the bass where pickups and eletronics are can be changed so like 50 percent
