Does anyone other than D'Addario make a 0.135" diameter roundwound B-string? (Either steel or nickel.)
Thanks. |

Thanks. | JustStrings.com sells single strings from several manufacturers.
I have used a .145 Ken Smith steel string for a low A for a while (major low end from this string).
They also sell .135 (as well as .140 and other sizes) http://www.juststrings.com/kensmithb...lestrings.html
I think you can also get a single .135 low B at JustStrings from LaBella, Rotosound, DR and Dean Markley. |

The reason I was asking about the .135 in the first place is that the B on my 34" 5 string feels a little floppy. I just found a song where I might have to drop the 5th string down to A, though, so I'm wondering if I might have to go to an even heavier gauge.
Or just get a 35" 5 string. |
