.105 Taperwound E???

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello All--

Anyone know of a string set(s) that have a taperwound .105 E???

I have a Musicman SR 4 with the E string bridge saddle/barrel adjusted all the way down, but I still need to get the action a bit lower. Instead of modifying the bridge saddle (filing it down), I thought I could throw a taperwould E on it.

Prefer stainless steel strings--i.e., DR or Roto - like strings.

TY
Andy

You could order a set from DR with a longneck E and high beams for the rest. I know that the labella hard rockin steel 5 string set comes with a tapered E and B, so maybe the 4 string set comes with a tapered E.

Or you could go with an all-tapered set like a dean markley SR2000.
