.110 E string question

would i have to file my nut to put a .110 E string on my musicman sterling or could i put it on without having to do anything? ty

It SHOULD fit. E's are normally .106"-ish +.004" is just a bit larger than a hair more.

I have a .110 on 3 basses and all I had to do was move the saddle back to adjust the intonation

I put 115's on my jaguar without any problems. Best way to find out is just to try.
