I have a Precision Bass MIA(2000) and a Geddy Jazz. Right now I use EB 2806 flats on both basses. I'd just like to know if anyone on here has a Precision or Geddy(I'm sure you're out there)and what strings you use on them, flats or rounds, and why. That's it...thanks.

This depends on three factors:
1. What the bass sounds really good with. I believe some string types and gauges sound better and bring out the natural sound of the bass.
2. What style of music I am playing at the time.
3. What mood I am in.

I am not one to try to tell you what will sound good on your basses. That is something for you to decide.
For my current musical needs (and mood) my 54 Fender P reissue is sporting a set of TI flats (JS34 or something like that) and my 74 Fender Jazz has a set of Fender 7250 light gauge roundwounds. This is subject to change with my mood and whims, but that is what is currently working for me.

My Precision and Geddy both have EB flats and I have a Standard jazz with EB Hybrids rounds. I just got the P bass and I'm not sure how it would sound with rounds.
I play different types of music...country, usually older country, classic rock, rock, southern rock.

I have used rounds my P Bass and they sound okay with rounds. You might want to try it out. I prefer nickels when I use rounds because it doesn't take it away so far from the old school tone as stainless ones do. It would sound great with some of the styles you play.

What brand and gauge rounds did you use?
