30" scale, E to C?

I just got that very bass pictured.

It has a 30" scale (though measuring, looks more like 30.5")

The B seems rather mild.

I'd like to try it E to C.

Perhaps someone could suggest a 5-string set that would work, or a 6-string set I could leave the B off of?

Or possibly a B to G set that could be more effective at 30"?

I'll address nut issues as they arise.

Thanks!

Get a four string set and add a high c. That instrument looks like it will take a long scale string... Measure from the back of the ball end to the tuning post for the largest string and then you will have the max length string you can use.
