What are some good strings for drop b tuning on a 35" scale bass? My preference of tension semi-loose but I'm still playing on stock strings and I get terrible buzz at the tuning. Can anyone help me out?

drop b... use a 5 string set. for a slinkier feel, use a 120 gauge string... 110 would be rubber band slinky, but some like it.
i play a 34" bass and like a 130 b string for extra punch and articulation. with the way i play and how i set up my bass, i find that anything lighter than 130 buzzes. you can always buy single stings and experiment.
try to find out what some of your favorite players use (nickle or steel, gauges, etc.).

Anything from .120-.145 goes, whatever you like in terms of tension.
Buy singles. Assuming you're tuning B-F#-B-E, I'd go .125-.080-.060-.045.

Meh singles get up to about 35 - 40 $
i suggest DR lo riders 5 string set.

they have a 125 105 85 65 45

works for me.
