5 String question

Hey guys, i'm new to the forum. Just a quick question about 5 string basses.

I'm getting a new Matt Garrison Signature string set from fodera, and i've never tuned my 5 string EADGC before. Anything i should know about work i need to do to my bass post restringing?

You will definately ned a truss rod adjustment and most likely a new nut cut for the smaller strings. You may have rattle if you don't.

I don't know about "definitely". You might not notice any problems at all, especially if the aggregate tension of the EADGC set is similar to the BEADG set you had on it before. I have gone back and forth on 5-strings in the past and have never had any troubles with the nut cut. I would think that to be more of an issue moving larger on the string positions, not smaller.
