5 string sets 45-100 with tapered B?

My Sadowsky RV5 sounds thin on the D and G with the Labella HRS set that goes 40-60-80-100-128T. And I just tried to like the standard set of 45-65-85-105-128T but I cannot get past the thuddy, boomy E beyond the 5th fret. So I broke into a brand new set of lite HRS and stole the 80 and 100 A and E. Problem solved. Everything feels and sounds consistent as I move across the strings. Unfortunately I cannot find a reasonable way to buy a 45-100-128T set of Labellas.
I hear Pedulla's may be a Labella product and they come in my preferred gauge. Anyone compare the two. Do the Pedulla's come with a taper B? And does it kick arse like the Labella B?
And then I see the Ken Smith Rock Masters coming 45-100-125T. Anyone like the Smith taper core B?
Thanks,
Dave
