5 strings light

hey guy's and/or girls and/or cats,

I play a Yamaha TRB5 and I play with a very low action, easier to play solos, less demanding on fingers, etc.

Because of this my strings tension are very low... B-E-A are pretty bad, especially B-E. Therefore I'm looking for smaller B and E , A is not that bad, maybe later... I looked into sites and stuff but rather not get it delivered and I also work at a music store so I would get discounts so popular brands are the best.

I think having a .125'ish for B and .95'ish might do the trick. I have d'addario exl 170-5 right now (.045-.065.-.080-.100-.130) and I think that's about it they have for 5 strings unless I get singles which I'm not to keen on for right now.

I checked DR long necks they may have smaller B but bigger E or same so not too keen on them.

Elixir have the 15425 (.045-.065.-.080-.100-.125) everything is the same except B, I have heard that the coating can be bothering and they are expensive...

You guy's know anybody else who makes something i'm looking for (labella is way too expensive, I change my strings at least once a month/1.5month) Do any of you guy's have/had the same problem... any solutions

Thanks

peace

If you want to go really low action with thinner strings, you'll need strings that have higher tension than the ones you're using now. Have you tried D'Addario Pro Steels? They're higher tension and have a nice bright tone. Also they're not expensive. Elixers sound dull to me, regardless if they're new or old.
