I'm looking for a 6 string flat set without having to buy single strings. Any help? |

$30 + $9 S&H = $39
I wonder what the tension is like on these strings. I like my TI 4 string flat set. I hated the flats that came on my MIM Jazz Bass; way too tight!

Carvin doesn't need to spend their money on making pretty packages for retail outlets; however, they do put together a nice mail order catalog.

They are Labellas, BTW. |

I got a set and they were OK, but I didn't like them as much as LaBellas I've had. I've read that they're OEMed by LaBella though, so my problem could have been in my mind. They felt nice and sounded fine, but the "B" string kind of died on me after about 4 months or so. Could have been bad luck, could have been in my mind. They are the least expensive option for a six string flat set by a long shot! |

I don't think it is really an "online" purchase if you call them. Carvin is a trusted company. They've been around for years. You could explain this to your parents. It's worth a shot, right?

Does D'Addario make 6er Chromes? What about Conklin?
