6-string Slinky Bass Guitar 29 5/8 scale strings same as 30"?

Is the 29 5/8 set made to fit the Fender Bass VI, Jaguar and mine, the Schecter Hellcat VI? I imagine it's got to be close enough to the 30" sets, as in designed for the same guitars, but I didn't want to take that for granted before ordering several packs of these strings. The set: * 6-string Slinky Bass Guitar 29 5/8 scale .020w - .090 (P02837) *
is absolutely what I think I want, skinnier on top 2 and fatter on bottom 2 than the D'Addario set. These can be had for ten bucks a pack. I haven't read anything about them yet in these forums, so figured I'd ask.
