7150 or 7250 for Geddy

Hi all,

I have a Fender Geddy, and have been wanting to try either the Fender 7150 or 7250 strings. Which would you go for?

Thanks,

Lyle

Lyle-

I have used both on my 74 Jazz, which is very near the time his original bass was made (72, I believe).
I have used both 7250 and 7150 string sets in light gauge (.40-.100). They both work well with the bass.
The 7150s are pure nickel while the 7250s are nickel plated steel or iron. You would think being 7150 would be a little warmer, but they sound punchy like the 7250s on my bass. I really could recommend either set.

I ended up buying the 7250m's, because they were cheaper . I'll try the 7150's one of these days. Thanks for the suggestions!
