8-string string help please

I just picked up a Brice 408XL 8 string bass. Not too bad for under $300. However, does anyone know where I can get octive strings with the smaller brass balls on the ends that will be long enough? Regular guitar strings at about 2 inches too short if I go through the body.

Those, D'Addario strings are pretty good, if you like nickel.
Rotosound, Zon and LaBella all make 8 string sets in stainless steel, a better choice for 8 string IMO.
