acoustic 5 string set w/ high C?

i resently got a 5 string ovation acoustic bass.

i have found that i dont use the B string that much at all and thought it would make more sense to have a higher C string instead of the low B

ive looked on a few websites and can't find anything.

any help?

Just string it with a high C string, should work just fine.

Generally you have to get a 6-string set and just use the EADGC from it. But depending on what kind of strings you want specifically, you can get singles from juststrings.com. That might be your best bet.

you might need a new nut. I just restrung my 5 fretless and needed an new nut because of the smaller strings. I used a 4 string set if DR Sunbeams and then ordered the single C from juststrings.com
