I didn't realize that acoustic bass strings start at a much hight price then Electric bass strings.. first time re-stringing the acoustic bass..

As with these sets, you just have to shop around. I now use GHS precision flatwounds (.45-.95) sets on a my acoustic basses instead of phosphor bronze ones because they have a deeper tone, less twang, and not near the fingernoise that phoshpors have.
