Acoustic Strings

I've just bought myself an acoustic ibanez bass, the is first acoustic bass and need to buy a great set of strings, any thoughts?

I like GHS Precision Flats on mine. Takes the finger & fret noise out of it.

DRs

I put DR's acoustic bass guitar strings on my Michael Kelley 4 string acoustic bass guitar. I think they only have the one acoustic bass type string.
Those strings on my bass have a bit of string noise but this can easily be controlled with the EQ on the bass or the amp or both. They DRs sound good and play good to me.

I used to use Chromes on my acoustic. Only problem was that the Low B was a .132, and you can't push the bridge pin all the way down on that string, which would be moot for you if you rock a 4. Otherwise, great strings.

Have the same guitar, I put on D'Addario half rounds on them. As mentioned above, helps with the finger and fret noise. I really enjoy the warmth with the acoustic and they feel nice on the fingers as well. Didn't like the brighness of the phosphor-bronze..
