| Probably....it depends on the string tension differences, and how much relief and string height you have now...most like you will at least have to tweak the truss rod, probably tighten it a bit. Hard to say without seeing the bass. More importantly, be sure the string nut slots will accept the larger gauges without being filed wider. None of this is a big deal, but often little adjustments make a big difference in playability and sound. If in doubt about your ability to make the adjustments, bring it to a good tech, they will probably fix it in minutes, if not seconds. Good luck! |
