Advice?

Hello fellow talkbassers,
Ive been playing my yamaha rbx374 bass with standard strings for over a year, and i felt like i needed to replace them. The strings are really hard to bend, whice sometimes causes problems.
Basically im looking for strings that bend really easy on the g string , and become more harder to bend as you move a string lower. Please help me out!

A lot of this is going to come down to your personal opinion on what sounds and feels the best. Try a few out. I recommend Diadarios or DRs.

The obvious solution seems to be to go with a lighter gauge; most extra lights seem to be .40 for the G, and a quick google search showed a Rotosound set with a .30 G. If you wanted to maintain the heavier gauge on lower strings you can buy your standard set and a separate light G.
