Do you think strings get better with age? Just sayin, I'll take a string that's been worn over one fresh out of the box.

i've yet to find a set of strings where i was in love with the tone right out of the box. it always takes at least a month or two for me before i'm happy with em

I think my Fender Flats sound better and better with age. I guess I will get to compare when I toss some new Fender Flats on my jazz bass project.

My Carvin has 20 year old flats.
My Fender Jazz has 8 year old rounds.

They both sound great to me.
