Alembic Epic 5

Hey guys,
A few years ago I purchased an Alembic Epic 5. Loved the sound of it, but didn't play it much, it took me awhile to get used to the string spacing. I didn't pay attention to the strings that were on it when I finally changed them, now I can't get that sound back. any suggestions for strings on this bass?

if you bought it new you could hit up Alembic to find out what they are putting on their basses prior to shipping

Alembic has their own brand of strings. They're nice but, like everything else with their name on it, expensive. My favorite strings to use on Alembic basses are DRs.

I use DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams on mine.
