Exclamation All around strings

Sign in to disble this ad
hello.

Ive had my p-bass for about 7 months and been using the fender strings it came with. Ever since ive been playing i know these strings are just horrible...

My bass is also ordered from the factory and was inspected but not setup like at samash or guitarcenter so I had too do it. Im thinking of buying new strings because when i want my strings a little looser, it becomes too loose and when i want it medium or just playable w/o buzz its way too tight..

Is there any such strings that are all around strings? So that way i can get better at slapping/pop but at the same time finger or maybe a pick to get the pick sound.?

another question- what kind of strings does matt freeman use?

thanks

do the Fender strings suck?

My all around strings are D'Angelicos, be it stainless steel or nickel plated.
I prefer stainless steel but that is a matter of taste and preferred tone.
