Hi all!
I have my Cort Artisan B4 bass and haven't changed stirngs (they are the stock ones) but now i feel i NEED new stirngs, buy i will like to have the most versatile strings, because i love the dark fat sound that i can get playing near the fretboard, but also like the brightness of playing by the bridge, and lately i have been tapping, i tough that DR Lo-riders would be the best choice but i don't know anymore, what gauges should i get?
I've tried super slinky ernie balls and some very very bright elixir's, i tought they where way too bright for my taste, and the super slinky i tought i would use more brightness and a little bit more fatness...is there some strings that can please me?
Also, i liked the 45-105 gauges, thanks for your help.

Sounds like you ansered your own question. Go with the Dr's ans ee how you like them. Go with the 45-105 gauge its my favorite.

Well, brightness in between the elixir's and the super slinky ernie balls, and more phatnes than the super slinky ones, the elixirs lack the darknes or fatness i wanted, maybe could that be changed with the gauges?
Hope experienced players help me!
Thanks!
