Alternative strings?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey everyone!

I've got a Sandberg bass, and currently i've equiped it with DR Hi-beams.. Love the feel, love the tension, but i feel im lacking some Tone? Anyone got a suggestion for alternative strings alike the Hi-beams with more tone of the wood and less metalish sounding?

Also if it could be included abit more low end would be awesome!

You have stainless steel strings, which are very metallic sounding. You may want to try DR Sunbeams, which are the same string but with nickel wrap so they are warmer and fuller sounding.
