Am I a flats guy?

Well, I just discovered that I like my rounds to be old and have some low end with some mids. I like a little bit of treble too. I just leave on my rounds for months, but I just want to think. Next time I change strings, should I try flats?

That may help you a bit, just pick a bass and you can mess with how it sounds with rounds or flats. Mess with pickup position as well.
