Call me barbaric but I love their stainless strings on a jazz. Rough and crunchy.

I think mine are the 50-110's.

I tried Rotosound once. It was all right. I might try again if I can ever find a set of those damned PSD 99's.

I like my Rotosound 77 Flats, however they are not bright enough for the current band I am in, especially on this passive P I am currently playing. I never thought I would ever say "not bright enough" as I've always been a low-down, fat bass, kinda guy.. but this band is doing weird things to me.. suddenly I want a lot of high-end growl.. can't get enough of it actually ...

Thankfully I'm only renting this current bass until my new ATK 305 comes in.. maybe the flats will be bright enough on an aggressive bass like that.. we'll see.
