Any problems with tuning up?

I'm getting a six-string fretless, and I was thinking that instead of standard six-string tuning, I would go EADGBE, as in a six-string guitar. Are there any forseeable problems with this? Are there specific strings that would suit as higher tuning better?

It might be more useful to just start with the low B and then tune it like a guitar. I'm sure you can find the right gauges to do it as you like, but my guess is it's going to be hit or miss depending on the bass you get, what you're willing to do with the nut, setup, etc. But you already know that so I'll shut up now as I didn't really answer your question.
