Any of you use Soft Tops/Regular Bottoms?

Just got an email back from D'addario letting me know they they're gonna start making a Soft Tops/Regular Bottoms 5 string set around October or so.

To clarify these are 45-65-85-105 in 4 string sets and 45-65-85-105-135 in 5 string.

I love this type as the soft strings on the top are better for bending/soloing, while you can still get the boomy sound of regulars on the E and A strings.

I was just wondering who else uses these type of strings and what brand(s) they use.

I use GHS Pressurewounds Medium (44-62-84-106 so I guess they qualify)

I use the same gauges, Standard Light by LaBella's standards.

That's not soft.

I use a .035-.095 - THAT'S soft.

Oh, and I use Pyramid Pyrasound stainless steel strings.

From the title of the thread, I thought maybe you were talking about underwear.
